About the author

Dr. Sikandar Shaikh DMRD, DNB, EdiR, MNAMS, FICR graduated from The B R Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. He is the consultant PET-CT radiology at Yashoda Hospitals, Somajiguda, Hyderabad, India. He has many international publications and has delivered more than 110 oral and posters presentations at various international meetings.

Dr. Sikandar is the president elect of ISMRM India Chapter, CCM member from Telangana State Chapter IRIA. He is also Indian ambassador of European Society of Hybrid, Molecular and Translational Imaging (ESHI), research committee member of European Society of Oncoimaging (ESOI), education committee member of World Molecular Imaging Society (WMIS), oncoimaging committee member of International Society of Paediatric Radiology (SPR), governing council member of Society of Emergency Radiology (SER), ethics committee member at IIT Hyderabad, associate editor of JMRI (International Journal of MRI). Heis the secretary elect for Indian College of Radiology 2021-2023. He is the reviewer of many international radiology journals, such as Radiographics, Radiology Cardiothoracic Imaging, Radiology Cancer Imaging, European Radiology, American Journal of Roentgenology.
