About the authors

Geraldine Blanchard-Rohner is a senior pediatric immunologist and vaccinologist at the University Hospital Geneva, treating children with immunological problems. She holds an MD from the University of Geneva and a DPhil from the University of Oxford, and has widely published on the immune response after vaccination. Her research has won several prizes, among others the Prix Pfizer in 2017. 

 

Laure F. Pittet is a senior paediatrician and vaccinologist at the University Hospital of Geneva. She holds an MD and PhD from the University of Geneva and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Infectious Diseases and Vaccinology at the Royal Children’s Hospital of Melbourne. She has widely published on the immune response after vaccination in immunocompromised children.
