Abstract
In this chapter, we give practical guidelines on the vaccination of immunocompromised children at various moments of the disease, i.e. immediately after the diagnosis and before the introduction of immunosuppressive treatment, and once the child is under immunosuppressive treatment. We also summarise the important points regarding vaccination with live vaccines under immunosuppression. We discuss the importance of verifying the vaccine serology regularly in these children. Finally, we provide some advice on the vaccination of children who have received IVIG.
