Abstract

This book marks the end of a four year European Union Concerted Action Program on “Resistance Mechanisms against Plant-parasitic Nematodes”. The objectives of the Concerted Action were, and I quote from the original application, “to increase European collaboration and to coordinate research on plant-parasite nematodes, with a focus on engineering nematode-resistant crop varieties”.
