Zusammenfassung

Das klinische Bild der Hirntumoren wird geprägt durch Hirndruckzeichen wie morgendliches Erbrechen, Kopfschmerzen, Visusstörung, Stauungspapille und psychoorganisches Syndrom. Dazu können je nach Lokalisation des Tumors neurologische Herdsymptome treten, z. B. Hemiparese, Aphasie, Ataxie oder hormonale Störungen. Intrakranielle Gliome und Meningeome gehen in 50–75 % mit herdbetonten oder generalisierten Krampfanfällen einher. Je maligner der Tumor, desto kürzer ist meist die Anamnese. 3–10% der Hirntumoren sind symptom los und warden autoptisch diagnostiziert.
