Taking a contest driven approach to innovation, the book provides an accessible yet comprehensive introduction to the area of open digital innovation. Authors and Affiliations
About the authors
Paul Johannesson holds a position as professor at Stockholm University, where he works in the area of Information Systems. Johannesson has published work on federated information systems, translation between data models, languages for conceptual modeling, schema integration, process integration, ontologies for conceptual modeling, and value modeling. He has been a member of several EU projects on knowledge based systems and requirements engineering. He has been the project leader of and participated in several national projects on information integration, the use of IT in teaching information systems design, process modelling and integration, and IT in health care. He is the author of about 200 papers published in international journals and conferences. Johannesson has co-authored a textbook on conceptual modeling published by Prentice-Hall and a textbook on design science published by Springer.
Gustaf Juell-Skielse holds a position as Associate Professor at Stockholm University, where his research and teaching focus on enterprise systems and digital service innovation. He earned a Ph.D. in Computer and Systems Sciences from Stockholm University in 2011 and a M.Sc. from The Royal Institute of Technology in 1989. He is the project leader for several national and international research and development projects. Prior to his academic career he was a strategic management consultant. Juell-Skielse is the author of about 50 papers and a textbook on competence management published by Liber.
