Coumarin synthesis via Pechmann condensation: toward a greener era (microreview)

This microreview summarizes the latest advances in the synthesis of coumarins via Pechmann condensation by taking advantage of green chemistry strategies. A total of 12 studies between 2015 and 2021 are discussed in this article.
