Abstract
Very different arthroscopic procedures have been described for treatment of glenoid fractures. With these procedures anatomic reduction and stable refixation can be achieved for most glenoid fracture patterns. Arthroscopic techniques are associated with better clinical outcomes compared to open procedures and the risk of potential complications is clearly reduced. Additionally, concomitant intra-articular lesions can be sufficiently treated simultaneously. Excellent preparation, technical skills and knowledge of shoulder anatomy are the essential prerequisites for a safe performance.
