Cluster-expansion procedures for the correlated charge form factor

Summary

A factor-cluster or Van Kampen-type expansion is proposed for the evaluation of expectation values with respect to Jastrow wave functions, with special attention to the correlated form factor for elastic electron scattering from light nuclei. The advantages of this expansion over other means (familiar iwamoto-Yamada-type expansion, single- or multiple-pair approximation) for evaluating the Jastrow form factor are displayed.

Si propone un ammasso di fattori oppure uno sviluppo del tipo di Van Kampen per il calcolo dei valori previsti rispetto alle funzioni d'onda di Jastrow. Si esamina con attenzione il fattore di forma correlato per lo scattering elastico degli elettroni su nuclei leggeri. Si evidenziano i vantaggi di questo sviluppo su altri, quali quello del tipo di Iwamoto-Yamada, o quello dell'approssimazione con una coppia singola o multipla, nel calcolo del fattore di forma di Jastrow.
