Abstract

Relaxation transitions in epoxy oligomers of various chemical nature and three-dimensional polymer networks on their basis are considered. Additional factors affecting relaxation of the networks, namely, the conversion of reactive functional groups of monomers during curing and the crosslink density of the network being formed, are discussed. Special attention is given to the phenomenon of physical aging in glassy crosslinked epoxy systems, which is analyzed from the experimental and theoretical viewpoints.
