Abstract
In the recent paper Jahankohan et al. (Quantum Stud 3:109, 2016), the \(\ell \)-waves Schrödinger equation for the Cornell’s potential is solved in quantum mechanics with a generalized uncertainty principle by following Bouaziz and Ferkous (Phys Rev A 82:022105, 2010). It is showed here that the approach of Bouaziz and Ferkous (Phys Rev A 82:022105, 2010) can only be used for the s-waves, and then the solution given in Jahankohan et al. (Quantum Stud 3:109, 2016) would be true only in the special case \(\ell =0.\) Furthermore, it is highlighted that the abstract and the conclusion of Jahankohan et al. (Quantum Stud 3:109, 2016) do not accurately reflect the results of the paper.
