Abstract
The reaction of 2-vinyloxypyridine and 2-vinyloxymethyl(ethyl)pyridines with halogens gives intramolecular, quaternized compounds, the halides of dihydrooxazolo[3,2-a]-, dihydrooxazolo[3,4-a]-, and dihydrooxazino[3,4-a]pyridine.
