Abstract
Technologies for learning, instruction, and performances quickly found their way in the educational arena and thus represent an important asset for every learning environment. This section presents sound theoretical contributions and rigorous empirical findings emphasizing the importance of technologies for learning, instruction, and performance. It is the aim of this section to contribute in a major way to the exceedingly important conversation about educational technology and to provide different perspectives on implications for theory, methodology, and pedagogical practice.
