Zusammenfassung

Der Morbus Dupuytren ist Teil einer systemischen Bindegewebserkrankung. Zell- und Bindegewebsproliferationen (Wucherungen) des präexistenten Bindegewebskontinuums bedingen manuelle Dysästhesien, evozieren schmerzlose Knotenbildungen der Hohlhand und verursachen im Spätstadium schließlich die auffällige, digitopalmare Beugekontraktur (◘ Abb. 34.1). Dass es sich bei der Dupuytren- Erkrankung nicht nur um ein extremitätenchirurgisches Problem handelt, bezeugen neben den ektopen Fingerknöchelpolstern auch die Induratio penis plastica (Morbus Peyronie ), der simultan auftretende, plantare Morbus Ledderhose , ebenso wie die dystope Extremform als ubiquitär vorkommende Polyfibromatose.
