Bridging Geroscience and Neuroscience: Exploring Neurosurgical and Neurological Perspectives on Aging and Age-Related Diseases
- Submission status
- Open
- Open for submission from
- 03 July 2023
- Submission deadline
- Ongoing
The intersection of geroscience and neuroscience holds great potential for advancing our understanding of aging and age-related diseases. This call invites researchers and physicians from clinical neurosurgery, neurology, and neuroscience programs to contribute their insights and findings on the clinical and translational aspects of diseases affecting the central nervous system (CNS) in older adults. We aim to explore how these diseases impact the aging process and the long-term health of individuals, ultimately affecting their quality of life during aging. Additionally, we are particularly interested in papers that investigate the role of basic mechanisms of aging in the pathogenesis of these age-related CNS diseases from a clinical perspective.
