A topical issue of the Adsorption Journal dedicated to Dr. Orhan Talu honoring his achievements and dedication to the field of adsorption research.
Dr. Talu has dedicated his career to the field of adsorption science and will, after his retirement from Cleveland State University in 2021, remain recognized within the adsorption community. He is widely known from his service as Vice-President/President of the IAS, AIChE Area 2E chair/vice-chair, and regional editor for the Adsorption Journal. He also helped organizing FOA conferences including chairing the conference in Sedona, Arizona in 2004.
Dr. Talu’s extensive research work dealt with the many aspects of gas adsorption. Appreciating the breadth and depth of his adsorption research the topical issue of Adsorption Journal shall cover all the fields in adsorption science which were enriched by Dr. Talu’s contributions:
1. Theory
2. Experiments
3. Simulation
4. Process
