Abstract

Tumor operations of the upper oral cavity include the surgical treatment of neoplasms and their spread in the area of the palate, maxilla, maxillary sinuses, nose, orbits, retromaxillary spaces as well as the anterior skull base. After a detailed description of the complex anatomy of the region and a short presentation of the diagnostics, the techniques of tumor resection and reconstruction are described in detail and explained in schematic drawings.
