Abstract
The surgical treatment of orbital tumors is without any doubt an interdisciplinary task. The craniomaxillofacial surgeon can transfer specific knowledge of orbital traumatology and reconstructive maxillofacial surgery to the treatment of orbital tumors. In this article the most common surgical approaches are presented in detail depending on the individual tumor site and demonstrated by appropriate clinical case examples.
