Zusammenfassung
Mit den heute am Markt verfügbaren technischen Komponenten für virtuelle Realität (VR) (insb. Head-Mounted-Displays) wird der breite produktive Einsatz VRbasierter Lernumgebungen erstmals realistisch. Das Medium VR ermöglicht die Vermittlung von Kenntnissen und Fähigkeiten für Wartung und Reparatur von Maschinen und Anlagen in einer hoch realistischen Weise, die sehr nahe am physischen Objekt ist, ohne ein solches zu benötigen.
