Diagnostische oder interventionelle neuroradiologische Maßnahmen in der Schwangerschaft werden insgesamt selten notwendig. Zumeist handelt es sich um zerebrale oder spinale neurologische Notfälle der Mutter, die einer unmittelbaren Abklärung bedürfen (Donaldson 1991, Bodis et al. 1998). Seltener wird eine Magnetresonanztomographie erforderlich, um zerebrale Ultraschallbefunde des Feten weiter abzuklären (Huisman et al. 2002).
