Abstract

The wrist is among the most commonly utilized joints in the human body, and a great number of vital structures pass through the wrist to reach the distal digits. Given its high usage and the significant structures involved, the wrist encounters a great number of potential disorders. There are also a number of ultrasound-guided injections that can be performed here with great efficacy. The following will review sonographic wrist anatomy, and when applicable, injection techniques to perform with ultrasound guidance.
