Abstract

Was modified the method for modeling of acute form of toxic dystrophy of liver of laboratory rats by intragastric administration of a 4% solution of tetracycline hydrochloride at a dose of 250 mg/kg, once a day, for seven days. For sick rats is characteristic development of leukocytosis, erythrocytopenia and decrease in blood hemoglobin level. In addition, a decrease in hematocrit values and increase in thrombocritis. The described changes indicate the manifestation of an overwhelming reaction of the liver and anemia. In the leukogram of sick animals, there is a shift of the nucleus of neutrophils to the right and eosinophilia. In the biochemical profile of their blood plasma, an increase in the activity of aspartate and alanine aminotransferase, respectively, by 81% and 3 times, of alkaline phosphatase by 60% and γ-glutamyl transpeptidase by 73%, hypoproteinemia and hyperbilirubinemia due to the conjugated fraction in destructive changes in hepatocytes. The developed method for modeling the acute form of toxic hepatodystrophy can be used in veterinary medicine for the clinical testing of new drugs of the hepatoprotective profile.
