Using IGS Files in Formalized Selection of Technological Bases for Prismatic Components with Surface Constraints

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The selection of technological bases in the machining of prismatic components may be formalized by means of geometric information in IGS format. The use of IGS files for formalized determination of surface properties is analyzed for purposes of basing in the presence of constraints on the surface extent in the prismatic component.
