Abstract
Analytical dependences are obtained for calculating main characteristics of discrete contact of technical surfaces—approach of surfaces (contact deformation) and real contact area—taking into account adhesive forces. Model of discrete adhesive contact of rough bodies is based on phenomenological model of surface forces (by A.V. Kovalev, I.N. Kovaleva and N.K. Myshkin) and well-known model of contact of rough surfaces by N. B. Demkin.
