Abstract
The desulfurization of ferrocarbon melts as a result of mixing by bubbles of Ca and Mg vapor and carrier gas is investigated. The calculation results are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data. The introduction of calcium by powder wire is shown to be more effective than Ca injection.
