Abstract

A method for analyzing the creep strain and its dependence on the stress, temperature, and time have been considered in many publications (e.g., see [1–3]), where the corresponding references can be found.

The present paper describes an investigation of several functional equations satisfied by the functions describing the time-dependence of the strain. Several solutions of the functional equations are given.
