Abstract
The effect of natural ageing on the electrochemical and corrosion behavior of an amorphous Fe75Si12B10Nb1Cu alloy in acidic sulfate environments is studied. In its shape, the polarization curve is similar to that of the alloy, which was heat treated at 400°C. The ageing made the alloy brittle and unable to be soldered with acidic fluxes.
