Mössbauer spectroscopy of 57Fe and 57Co in β-MnO2 matrix

Abstract

Behavior of Fe and Co in the β-MnO2 matrix was studied by absorption and emission Mössbauer spectroscopy. It was found that Fe and Co are stabilized in the matrix in oxidation states +3 and +4, respectively.
