Abstract

The results of investigations of thermoelectric and other physical phenomena in semiconductor structures with n-p junctions are presented for the conducting direction. The direction of the heat transport is opposite to that observed for the “conventional” Peltier effect, and its magnitude is much higher. The possible parameters of thermoelectric cooling devices based on this effect are estimated. The sizes of elementary structural units in condensed phases are estimated. The thermoelectric, electrogravitational, and other phenomena in substances, the charge carriers in which are multimolecular nanocomplexes—the other-phase nuclei, are described.
