Inspection of rotor disks of HPT and LPT of TK-10-4 gas-compressor units by the ultrasonic flaw detection method

Abstract

The special features of diagnosing disks of gas turbines of gas-compressor units by the ultrasonic flaw detection method are considered. The efficiency of detecting crack-type defects in disks of HPT and LPT rotors under the first tooth of fir-tree slots of the disks in the area of trapezoidal grooves for tightening plates is shown. The application of the ultrasonic flaw detection method substantially increases the reliability of crack detection.
