Abstract
The spin-reorientational transition from the state with “easy-plane” anisotropy to the state with “easy-axis” anisotropy—a pressure analogue of the Morin temperature transition in hematite— was detected in iron borate at a pressure of P∼17 kbar at room temperature by the neutron diffraction method.
