Abstract
226Ra and 228Ra were jointly recovered from natural water acidified with acetic acid by their coprecipitation with poorly soluble barium chromate. Barium chromate precipitate was converted into watersoluble form suitable for radium determination by fusion with a mixture of sodium and potassium carbonates taken in an appropriate ratio.
