Kinetics of Oxygen Adsorption and Electronic Processes on the Surface of Cadmium Sulfide Epilayers

  • Published:
Inorganic Materials Aims and scope

Abstract

The kinetics of oxygen adsorption and associated electronic processes on the surface of CdS epilayers were investigated. The results were used to evaluate the activation energy of adsorption, sticking coefficient, effective capture cross section for oxygen adsorption by surface centers, and effective electron capture cross section of the adsorption states.
