Abstract
Glass formation in the ZrF4–BaF2–LaF3–AlF3–NaF system is studied by differential thermal analysis at fixed ZrF4 (50–60 mol %) and BaF2 (20–30 mol %) contents. Using stability criteria, the most stable glass compositions are identified.
