Abstract
The paper studies the nonlinear distortion of direct modulated laser diode applying to AM-VSB lightwave CATV systems from the viewpoint of rate equations and designs a predistortion circuit in an easier way. It is shown that CSO and CTB in 60 PAL channels have been improved obviously.
