Photolysis of Perfluoropropylene-Methanol Mixture in Vacuum Ultraviolet

Abstract

The products of reaction of C3F6 with CH3OH, initiated by vacuum ultraviolet, were determined. The kinetics scheme of the process was proposed. The parameters of the kinetic processes were calculated. The feasibility of photochemical preparation of 2,2,3,4,4,4-hexafluoro-1-butanol was analyzed.
