Abstract
A sensor for the diagnostics of collisionless rarefied plasma was developed. The sensor is based on a through-type inverse-magnetron converter combined with ion and electron multielectrode probes. This makes it possible to measure the local concentrations of charged and neutral particles; ion, electron, and neutral temperatures; plasma potential; degree of plasma ionization and nonisothermality; mass velocity of the flow; electric field strength; and energy spectra of charged components.
