3-Substituted Thietanes as Effective Inhibitors of Cumene Oxidation

Abstract

3-Substituted thietanes were prepared by reaction of 1,2-epithio-3-chloropropane with various nucleophiles in aqueous solutions and were characterized. The inhibiting power of these compounds in cumene oxidation was studied.
