Abstract
A calorimeter with anisotropic bismuth-based thermocouples used as sensors of thermal flux is described. The instrument is intended for the investigation of heat-capacity temperature dependences, detection of phase transitions, and measurement of the heat of phase transitions in disperse materials over a temperature range of –180 to +30°. Variations of the measurement procedure are given.
