Abstract
Limitations of knowledge sharing within companies are a major cause of unsatisfactory productivity within industrialized engineering production systems. Therefore, this study utilizes the principal–agent theory to examine the reward systems for sharing knowledge within the industrialized engineering sector, predicated on regulatory systems to encourage knowledge sharing. The principal–agent theory is used to design a core reward model and an optimal framework for knowledge sharing in the industry with a mathematical basis for developing an appropriate reward mechanism. The findings indicate that the introduction and implementation of regulatory reward mechanisms significantly boost knowledge-sharing efforts and predicted income levels. It also shows the modification regulation of the optimal exertion levels, incentive sensitivity, optimal regulatory parameter, and anticipated income and validates equitable income levels. A reward system for knowledge sharing in the industrialized engineering sector has been formulated in this study, incorporating factors of knowledge sharing into a model, verifying the efficiency of regulatory mechanisms, and extending the mathematical scope of implementation.
