Abstract
In this paper, the effect of continuous finishing-desizing, scouring, bleaching and dyeing of woven cotton fabrics on the low stress mechanical and surface properties has been studied. The cotton fabric properties were measured by the famous KES-FB system. The handle of the finished fabrics were calculated by the handle evaluation programme. The results showed that the mechanical properties changed significantly by the desizing and gradually by the scouring, bleaching and dyeing processes.
