meso-Phenyltetrabenzoazaporphyrins and Their Zinc Complexes. Synthesis and Spectral Properties

Abstract

Zinc complexes of meso-phenyltetrabenzoazaporphyrins were prepared by the reaction of iso-indoline-1,3-diimine with phenylacetic acid in the presence of zinc oxide. Treatment of the products with sulfuric acid gave metal-free compounds.
