Issues of increasing the reliability of power supply to a load of the first category by energizing consumers from two power sources are analyzed. Power-supply circuits of transformer substations of consumers from two geographically dispersed main substations through two mains with closed duplicate ring-circuit connection are considered. It is shown that with resistance neutral grounding, closed circuits prevent a short-term interruption of power supply in the event of an emergency disconnection of a section of the cable network.
