Sample Preparation Method for X-Ray Structure Analysis of Carbon Fiber Crystal Structural Parameters after Various Heat Treatments

  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

A sample preparation method was elaborated to increase the precision and accuracy of the structural parameters during studies of differences in the crystal structure of carbon fibers after heat treatments using x-ray structure analysis. The method included grinding and sieving of carbon fibers and pressing of the fiber powder into a cuvette for studies on a diffractometer.
