Antioxidant, Antibacterial, and Antiproliferative Activities of a New Phenolic Compound from Cirsium creticum subsp. creticum

  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

In the our ongoing studies on the isolation of new molecules from Cirsium creticum subsp. creticum (Asteraceae), a new phenolic acid derivative 1 was isolated from the plant. Its structure was established on the basis of various spectroscopic methods. As part of our investigations into the biological activities of isolated bioactive compounds, antioxidant, antibacterial, and antiproliferative activities of this compound were studied.
