Abstract

Six flavonoids were isolated from the aerial parts ofCirsium rhinoceros. The flavonoids were identified as apigenin, luteolin, pectolinarigenin-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, linarin, pectolinarin and hispidulin-7-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-glucopyranoside on the basis of chemical and spectral evidence.
