Czechoslovak Journal of Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

We use the fractional-dimensionality method to study the thermodynamical behaviour of the confined electron systems. The main focus of analytical calculations is on magnetic superlattices. In particular we prove that low-temperature magnetization and specific heat scale with fractional spectral dimension of the electron/quasiparticle system.
