Abstract
As one environmentally benign technology for the removal of NOx, the selective catalytic reduction of NOx by hydrogen (H2-SCR) in the presence of oxygen has attracted more and more attention. Recent progress in the H2-SCR of NOx has been reviewed with the focus on H2-SCR catalysts and the reaction mechanisms. The effects of the reaction conditions (H2, O2, H2O, CO and SO2) on the performance of H2-SCR catalysts have been discussed. Finally, the future research direction for the H2-SCR of NOx has been proposed.
