Research results are presented on an experimental absorber containing cassettes of fibrous packing, which is based on the SNNK fibrous mist trap. Descriptions are given of the absorber design, the cassette with metal grid of woven type, and also the experimental equipment. Results are given on the hydraulic resistance and conditional volume absorption coefficient as governed by the working parameters in the mass transfer.
