The Virtual Surgeon hardware–software system (HSS) for training of surgeons in endovascular, endoscopic, and general surgery during pre-diploma and post-diploma education is described. The HSS structure provides 3-D modeling of organs of the human body and their visualization. The pioneering results obtained using the HSS and their comparison with foreign analogs are presented.
